These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the GreenCampus platform at campus.rsustain.com, operated by Resilient Sustainance Private Limited (“Provider”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Important Disclaimer — please read before proceeding.
GreenCampus is a self-assessment and sustainability-management tool. All scores, bands, benchmarks, savings estimates, and ROI projections are indicative outputs based on self-reported data and model estimates. They are not certified ratings, third-party assurance statements, or guarantees of any regulatory, accreditation, or certification outcome — including but not limited to CBSE SHVR, NAAC, NIRF, or UI GreenMetric.
GreenCampus does not issue AA1000AS assurance or any form of independent verification. Verified assessment requires a separate SHAKTI Assured engagement.
Guidance, improvement roadmaps, cost estimates, and ROI projections generated by the platform are indicative planning tools only and do not constitute professional environmental, financial, legal, or investment advice. You should obtain independent professional advice before acting on any recommendation.
1. Definitions
- “Platform” means the GreenCampus web application, APIs, and any associated services operated at campus.rsustain.com.
- “Institution” means the school, college, or university registered on the Platform.
- “Account Administrator” means the individual who registers the Institution and holds the school_admin role.
- “Authorised User” means any individual granted access to the Platform under an Institution’s account (including the Account Administrator).
- “Submitted Data” means assessment answers, SHVR indicator values, evidence files, and any other data entered by Authorised Users.
2. Service Description
GreenCampus provides educational institutions with:
- SHAKTI Sustainability Assessment — a structured self-assessment across six pillars (Energy & Carbon, Water, Waste, Green Infrastructure, Curriculum & Culture, Community & Transport), producing a score (0–100) and performance band.
- SHVR Data Collection & Export — entry and tracking of up to 75 (K-12), 120 (College), or 180 (University) sustainability indicators, with CSV/JSON export formatted for CBSE SHVR submission (paid tiers).
- UI GreenMetric Mapping — mapping of SHAKTI indicators to UI GreenMetric format for university-sector institutions (Green Premium and above).
- Peer Benchmarking — comparison of the Institution’s scores against anonymised, aggregated peer data grouped by board, state, fee tier, and institution level.
- Carbon Calculator — estimation of Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse-gas emissions using India-specific emission factors (CEA 2023).
- Improvement Guidance — automated roadmaps with indicative cost ranges, timelines, regulatory references, and suggested actions per pillar and performance band.
- Assessment Reports & Certificates — downloadable PDF reports and band-based certificates. Certificates are based on self-reported data; verified certificates require a SHAKTI Assured engagement.
Feature availability depends on your subscription tier (see Section 5).
3. Eligibility and Accounts
- Institutional use only. The Platform is intended for use by staff of Indian educational institutions (schools, colleges, and universities). By registering you represent that you are authorised to act on behalf of the Institution.
- Account ownership. The account belongs to the Institution, not to any individual Authorised User. The Account Administrator may add Authorised Users and assign roles (principal, teacher, data entry). If the Account Administrator leaves the Institution, the Institution should contact us to transfer administrative access.
- Credential security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at mail@rsustain.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Accuracy of data. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all Submitted Data. The Platform does not independently verify Submitted Data unless the Institution is enrolled in a SHAKTI Assured engagement.
- Age. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
4. Roles and User Limits
Each Institution account supports the following roles:
| Role | Capabilities |
| Account Administrator (school_admin) | Full access: manage users, enter data, manage subscriptions, upload evidence, download reports |
| Principal | Same as Account Administrator except cannot be created at registration |
| Teacher | View data, upload evidence, download reports |
| Data Entry | View data, upload evidence |
Maximum Authorised Users per tier:
| Tier | Max Users |
| Free | 1 |
| Green Standard | 3 |
| Green Premium | Unlimited |
| Green Assured | Unlimited |
5. Subscriptions, Pricing, and Renewal
- Free tier. A free account provides one assessment, basic benchmarking, and read-only access to results. No payment is required.
- Paid tiers. Green Standard, Green Premium, and Green Assured are annual prepaid subscriptions. The base price is displayed on the Platform; 18% GST is calculated and shown separately before payment.
- Auto-renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically on each anniversary. Razorpay will charge the payment method on file on the renewal date. You will receive a renewal notification from Razorpay before the charge.
- Expiry and downgrade. If payment fails or the subscription is not renewed, your account is immediately downgraded to the free tier. There is no grace period. All historical data (assessments, SHVR records, evidence files) is retained, but access to paid features (SHVR data entry, detailed benchmarking, exports, improvement roadmaps) is suspended until a new subscription is activated.
- Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing mail@rsustain.com or via your Razorpay subscription dashboard, before the next renewal date. Cancellation stops future auto-renewal but does not trigger a refund for the current period. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.
- Price changes. We may revise subscription pricing. Any increase applies only at the next renewal cycle and will be communicated at least 30 days in advance. Active subscriptions are honoured at the price paid.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for its intended purpose — sustainability self-assessment and management for your registered Institution. You must not:
- Submit data relating to any institution other than the one registered to your account;
- Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or white-label any part of the Platform or its outputs;
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform by automated means;
- Attempt to circumvent access controls, reverse-engineer the scoring methodology, or interfere with Platform security or availability;
- Upload malicious files, inject code, or attempt path traversal via evidence uploads or API inputs;
- Misrepresent GreenCampus scores, bands, or certificates as independently verified ratings or assurance statements.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable.
7. Intellectual Property and Data Usage
- Platform ownership. The Platform, SHAKTI methodology, scoring engine, report templates, guidance content, and all associated intellectual property are owned by the Provider. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
- Your data. You retain ownership of all Submitted Data (assessment answers, SHVR indicator values, evidence files, institutional information). We do not claim ownership of your data.
- Service licence. By submitting data you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process, store, and display your Submitted Data solely to operate the Platform and deliver the service to you.
- Aggregation licence. By submitting an assessment you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to include your Institution’s anonymised, aggregated scores (overall score and pillar scores) in peer benchmarks visible to other institutions on the Platform. No individual school identity, assessment answers, SHVR indicator values, or evidence files are ever shared with other institutions. Aggregated data is presented only as statistical summaries (averages, medians, percentiles). When fewer than ten peer institutions are available, benchmarks are blended with model estimates and labelled accordingly.
- No sale of data. We do not sell, rent, or share your Submitted Data with any third party for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
- The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” for self-assessment purposes.
- We make no warranty — express, implied, or statutory — that the Platform is fit for any particular regulatory, certification, or accreditation purpose, including but not limited to CBSE SHVR compliance, NAAC accreditation, NIRF ranking, or UI GreenMetric submission.
- Scores, bands, benchmarks, and peer comparisons are computed from self-reported data and model estimates. We do not warrant their accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any decision.
- Improvement guidance, cost estimates, savings projections, and ROI figures are indicative planning tools generated from reference data. They are not professional environmental, financial, legal, or investment advice and should not be relied upon as such.
- Certificates generated by the Platform are based on self-reported data. They do not constitute independently verified ratings or assurance statements. Verified assessment requires a separate SHAKTI Assured engagement.
- We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the Platform. We will use reasonable efforts to maintain availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime.
9. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider’s total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of the Platform shall not exceed the fees actually paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
- The Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of accreditation or ranking outcomes, or reputational damage, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful default, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
11. Term and Termination
- These Terms remain in effect for as long as you maintain an account on the Platform.
- You may close your account at any time by emailing mail@rsustain.com. Account closure does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, subject to reasonable notice where practicable. In the event of termination for breach, no refund is due.
- On account closure or termination, your Submitted Data will be retained for a reasonable period (as described in our Privacy Policy) to allow you to request export, after which it will be deleted.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account or by a notice on the Platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the Platform and close your account.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Provider regarding the use of the Platform.
